Widemarsh Street pedestrianisation: last call for your views

The public consultation on the pedestrianisation is coming to a close; comments have to be in by 12 December. To make it as easy as possible for people to comment, Herefordshire Council have published a questionnaire in the latest 'Herefordshire Matters' magazine (delivered to every home and available in Libraries and Council Offices) and have also put the questionnaire online. At the moment, the online poll shows just 13% wanting to revert to the existing scheme BUT what the present sceheme doesn't do is address the needs of cyclists, buses, taxis and the disabled. So PLEASE make the effort to respond if you haven't already. The online link is here (you'll have to register but its fairly easy). Our colleagues at Cycle Hereford have formally responded as a Stakeholder and you can read their views here.
